Tessa Thompson
Tessa Lynn Thompson, an artist and performer of Los Angeles was born in 1983. She is the daughter of singer-songwriter Marc Anthony Thompson and the grandchild of musician-actor Bobby Ramos. Thompson was born in Los Angeles and raised there before relocating to Brooklyn. Thompson is Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian descent. Thompson was part of numerous productions in Santa Monica High School. After graduation, she enrolled in Santa Monica College, where she received a bachelor's master's degree in cultural anthropology. She performed as Juliet in the William Shakespeare play "Romeo and Juliet" during a performance performed by the Boston Court Theatre in Pasadena, California. The show's performance was a big hit and was rewarded with an NAACP Theatre nomination the same year. Tessa began her television debut in 2005. She starred as a CBS Series.
