Sutton Foster is an award-winning actor, singer and dancer who has performed in 11 Broadway productions - including the return of Violet and the originating parts in Broadway performances that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performance on Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Sutton Foster was an Star Search contestant at the age of 15 and appeared on Bunheads as well as Psych. Sutton Foster has appeared on Sesame Street and Law and Order SVU. Sutton Foster, a solo artist has performed across the United States and overseas along with Michael Rafter. Her songs include "Wish", "An Evening with Sutton Foster - Live at Cafe Carlyle" (her follow up album) in addition to "Anevening With Sutton Foster - Live at Joe's Pub". She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in 2011 at Ball State University, where she also serves as a faculty member and advisor for the Department of Theatre and Dance. She has been starring in TV Land's "Younger" produced by Darren Star, since March 2015.
