Yael stone, a New York City-based Australian resident, was the character Lorna Morello in Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael has graduated from NIDA. Yael had the privilege at a young age to have worked with some of Australia's top storytellers and performers and creative directors within the TV, film and theatre fields. Yael leads a highly professional career that has been a success in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael relocated from Australia to New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of the Music's production of the play was an enormous success. Yael founded The Cannery with her co-founders. The Cannery encourages innovative writing, and creative endeavors through it's Bushwick studio.
